Why “Toko”?
In Japanese, 登校 (tōkō) is the daily act of going to school — and 下校 (gekō), of going home. Toko records both: the tap in, and the tap out. That's all it does, and it does it well.

What do I need?
A tablet you already have, and about 15 minutes. No QR codes, no scanners. Import your roster from K-SIS or add students by hand.
Do parents need an app?
No. There is no parent app. Students tap; staff watch.
What if a student forgets to tap out?
Mark it from Class with one tap. After closing time, Toko flags open visits automatically.
Is my roster private?
Yes. Toko stores student ID and name only — no grades, no contact info.
